Hi. Not sure if you have any info on Porsche, looking for MF and RV for new 2018 Porsche 718 Cayman S on a 24 and 36 month lease, 10k miles.

Incentives?
Does Porsche do Holdback?

I am based in FL.

Sorry, we don't have the Porsche programs, this month.

Last time we saw numbers a few months ago, the money factor was .00230 for all models.

Anything new on this? Specifically, do you know mf and rv for 2018 cayman s (MSRP $94960) 36/10 and 36/12?

    .00250 MF
    64%/63% residual

But, you are over the MRM. The maximum MSRP for residual application is $87000.
That's going to kill your payment.. It will be $150-$200 more than if the whole MSRP was residualized.

Maximum Residualized MSRP - a cap on the amount of MSRP that is subject to the residual percentage. Anything higher than that number you have to pay 100% over the life of the lease. Fairly common with luxury brands, but Mazda also publishes MRM values for their models, as well.

In your case, the $7960 difference between the MRM ($87,000) and the MSRP of the car you're interested in ($94,960) you pay over 36 months - $221/mo

I was browsing cars.com and I found a two NEW 2017 base Boxsters in my area.

I plugged them into my lease calculator using the Boxster numbers posted earlier.

    63% 36/10 .00176

    Option 1
    MSRP:$78020
    Online Price: $65950
    Mileage: 400

    Lease Est = 729.40/mo ( tax included)
    Fees & Cash = $2364.40

    Option 2
    MSRP: $77875
    Online Price: $65950
    Mileage: 15

    Lease EST = $731.99/mo
    Fees& Cash = $2366.99

Did I do this math right?

Can I expect a further discount due to them being 2017 MY? Also one of them has a few hundres miles already?

Or or is this probably the best the dealer can do?

    Thanks again!!!

I don't think the 2017 models have the same lease program as the 2018's.

Actually, I don't see any 2017 lease numbers, at all.

No worries! I’ll tocuh base with the dealer tomorrow and report back.

I don’t want to insult the dealer but I found out that option 2 has been on the lot for about 630 days. They are just over a 15% discount off MSRP should I push for better?

    Thanks!

@mkr_f30 I'd want a lot more than 15% on a car that is nearly two years old.

Doesn't mean they'll sell it for less. Obviously, they are in no hurry to get rid of it.

also seeing conflicting info on "welcome to Porsche program, which pays up to 4500$ or three payments of competitive lease. dealership says must be within 180 days of lease termination and some sites do not mention this at all.

With my residual, the calculated payment is correct.

    Couldn't find a Cayman S with less options? ;)

Haven't ever shopped for a new Porsche, but if there is anywhere to save money, it seems like you could get a bigger discount from MSRP.

Nothing else seems out of line.
That's a special money factor for the Cayman S, this month.

I don't have any info on this.

  • Hello, Thank you in advance for your help.

    I'm looking at a 2018 Base Cayman.

    A few questions:

    1) MF and RV for 24 months (5K, 7.5K and 10K miles)?
    2) MF and RV for 36 months (5K, 7.5K and 10K miles)?
    3) What is the MRM on this vehicle?
    4) What discounts are people currently seeing on 2018 vehicles equipped with manual transmission?
    5) I noticed the dealer included an $80 "document fee" on top of the $995 acquisition fee. Do you know if these are legitimate fees?
    6) Zip Code = 90048

    .00184 MF
    72%/65% residual for 24/36 mo, 10K/yr
    Add 1%/2% for 7.5K/5K
    MRM = $71,000

    No info on pricing

$995 is the base acquisition fee for PFS
Every dealer in CA charges the $80 doc fee (max allowed by state)

  • Hi - Per my above comment about a 2018 Cayman, have the MF/RV figures changed for June 2018? Thank you so much.

    .00176 MF
    72% / 68% for 24/36, 10K
Same adjustments for 7.5 or 5K
