The tax rules for leases in GA change with the new year. I certainly wouldn't lease until after January 1

Thank you for the information. I saw that tax change memo while doing the research over the weekend. Good thing Volvo has incentives last until 1/2/18. Dealer grumbling they are not sure how competitive they will be after 12/31/17. Just got deal summary. Can you give me your thoughts?

Dealer service fee is a garbage fee. Sad to say, $599 (or higher) is typical for GA. You have to consider that part of your adjusted price.

.00104 MF and 55% residual for 39/12 gives me a payment of $667/mo.+tax, with just first payment due at signing? Does their price include tax? And, if it does, current tax, or 2018 tax? If it doesn't include tax, then they are likely marking up the money factor.

Ask them for the money factor and residual used.

The current program runs through January 2nd. Believe me, their deal won't change before then.

Thank you for your help. No first payment and does not include taxes. I've request the money factor and residuals they are using and found they have a transport fee of $800 which would bump total to $59433.

Transport fee? What's that for? Do they have to dealer trade to get the unit you want?

Yes, they want to charge me to ship from another dealer in Florida. I think I'll offer to pick it up.

They gave me requested information - 55% RV and 0.00104 MF.

The numbers don't quite add up. Even if you add $800 for transport.

I'd try to find a dealer that had the car I want in stock.
