Stabletrak issue with Chevy Traverse 2010

The traction light and brake light sometimes comes on with the message of stabletrak issue/ service brake. The brake light goes off but the traction light stays on. I am nervous to drive and concerned about what the dealer may say is wrong. What might the repair estimate be? I see I am not the only one with this issue.

If you don't want to deal with the dealer, or if they can't fix it, you may want to consult this list of highly trained specialists, (see link below) to see if there is one in your area. There's a good chance these technicians have the level of skill necessary to track down this sometimes elusive problem.

Click on the tab that says "repair shops".

Your truck's "Stabilitrak" isn't any one thing--in a sense, it doesn't exist. It is made up of a system of sensors and modules, any one of which could be causing the problem. If the truck performs normally in driving and braking, you are probably OK to drive it to a repair facility.
