Hello there!

I have a somewhat interesting situation, and I'm hoping that somebody may be familiar with how this would work. I live in Wyoming, but it's difficult to find hybrids up here. The market is much better in Colorado, so I'll likely be initiating the lease there. Does this add any complication to the matter? What would the MF, residual, and incentives look like on a 3 year, 36000 mile lease for the premium and advanced? Would the dealer discount the lease cost by both the Federal and CO incentives even though I'll be registering the car in Wyoming? Is this arrangement even possible?

When you lease, the bank gets the Federal tax credit.
No info about CO hybrid incentives.

But, it doesn't look like the Prius Prime has any lease support.
If you want it, you'd probably have to buy it. In that case, the dealer doesn't discount by the tax credit. You claim it at the end of the year on your taxes.

Confirm that it's a TFS lease; if it's third party, we have no way to confirm the numbers.

What is the MSRP?

Assuming all fees and other charges are paid upfront.

I don't have an explanation for his money factor.
Prius money factors are in the range of what we quoted, just about everywhere.

I get $350/mo plus tax; tax rate would have to be 9.75% to get to the dealer quoted payment.

Ask for a breakdown of the $2000 up front - first payment, acquisition fee ($650), doc fee ($80), DMV costs ($300-350). I'll guess the rest is going to CAP reduction, which makes the payment about right.
