You'd still have first payment, dealer fees, DMV fees and tax on the rebate Due at Signing.
In Florida, that might be $2000 or more.

On a 2019, given the incentive, that is just an average discount. Which will likely be hurt by a massive dealer fee (because, Florida)

Greetings all, a quick question. I have a deal in place for a '19 430i Coupe. Lightly optioned car, MSRP around 48.5K. Have what I feel is a pretty good offer on the table ($4600 discount, $5250 in shown rebates including loyalty, base MF).

So that last part is my only issue. From all I read, the rebate seems to universally be $3750, plus the $2500 in loyalty I qualify for. ZIP is 28104. Am I getting shorted on the rebate? Can a dealer keep customer rebates for themselves? If this is a skinny deal is this how they're making some money on the car? (FWIW the car has been in their inventory for 18 months, has not been put in service, and has 30 miles on it.) The dealer agreed to change the oil and install a new battery as soon as I raised the issue of the charging logs. They've been great to deal with, except for this disparity, as they claimed the $3750 applied only to financed cars. That obviously contradicts what I'm seeing here.

Any guidance is appreciated. My thanks go out to the moderators who have helped so many get good info we wouldn't have otherwise. Cheers...

Total rebates on the lease seem exactly as they should be at $5250. Discount is about 9.5%. No money factor markup. $517 dealer fee (SC). I'm comfortable with that deal, the better half should enjoy the car, and it should make for a good companion for my 135i. The hardest part has been figuring out standard and optional equipment, since it seems the base price has been raised slightly every year, while options have been added as standard. I did not originally expect that things like Navigation, Sport Seats, Sirius, and Comfort Access were standard equipment now. Production streamlining as the car nears end of life I'm guessing.

Car is Imperial Blue over Venetian Beige Sensatec/Fineline trim. Only options are paint color, Convenience Pack, and the staggered 19" satin gray wheels. An odd spec to be certain, which is probably why it's still around. Then again, with 7 remaining within 500 miles, choices aren't exactly abundant. In a perfect world it would have the HUD and H/K options, but at $400ish a month with Acq, Doc, and payment 1 (No CCR) due at signing, the better half and I will be fine. I'm just happy her run of SUVs is coming to an end. 🤣

Perhaps my numbers can be of help to someone as a baseline, this was the dealer's initial offer, and with the loyalty credit I thought it was very fair. Thank you all for the quick response, I'm very grateful. Cheers!
