The numbers vary by trim, term and mileage. But, not options or packages.

Subaru does not have an MSD program.

Generally speaking is the MV and residual better on a higher model or lesser model? 
Is MV and residual better on a 39 month or 36 month? We don't mind a higher residual. We are trying to get a lower payment.

Generally, higher trim lines have lower residuals, though there are exceptions.

Limited:
36/12: .00175 MF and 63% residual
39/12: .00140 MF and 59% residual

Touring:
.00135 MF and 61% residual
.00105 MF and 57% residual

Given those numbers, I'd stick with 36 months.

Just got a $0 down quote on a Limited 7 passenger. $43,586 sticker with no discounts or incentives and quoted .00175 with 63%.

$703 per mo (taxes incl) in PA so I am not sure they lease real well right now

Stopped by a dealer today and was quoted $570/month with $2k down based of a VIP pricing of $41500. Seemed a bit high and was told it was .00225/64% when asked. Thoughts?

Any options on it? The MSRP is the bottom line number of the factory window sticker.

But, assuming the numbers you've provided are correct, $516/mo with the marked up MF.

Ask the dealer for the CAP cost - this may include things like taxes and fees that are added in to the selling price.

So I finally got some numbers from my dealer. Pre-ordered a Subaru Ascent Limited with option package 23 and a couple of factory add-ons. MSRP of 44,111, and my Costco price is $40169. I put $1000 down for the pre-order. They are quoting $510 per month with $1120 down. They haven't told me the MF and residual yet, but I live in Portland 97211, so it looks like they want to markup the .00175 MF to .00225. Any idea how I can get them to bring the MF down to .00175? Ascent's are pretty hot right now, and if I don't take delivery it will take a couple of months to get another one through another dealer.

The problem with popular cars - like the Ascent is now - is that you're at the mercy of the dealer on ordered vehicles. Normally, I'd have you tell the dealer to give you the base MF or you find another dealer, but then you have to wait again for the right car to show up.

10% off MSRP is a healthy discount - ask them how much of that discount they'd want back to get the base MF? You'd have to run the numbers both ways to see which results in a more favorable payment.
