.00060 MF 62%/59% residual for 36/39 mo $500 dealer incentive
Big thank you to Michaell and kyfdx. I just completed the lease of a 3.6R limited in magnetite gray/black interior with Nav/moonroof package. Here are the details:
MSRP: 38,713
Sale price: 33,000
Adjusted Cap cost: 33,595 (34,440.87 including taxes)
36/10k miles
MF: .0006
RV: .62
$301.03 per month before taxes
$325.03 per month after taxes
At signing, $726.83 due which was first month $325.03, title/registration $221, Doc fees: $179.80
Pretty happy with the deal, probably should have pushed to get that $179.80 doc fee removed now that I think about it.
Thanks again for the help!
Congrats! Subaru is really blowing out the Outbacks in preparation for the next generation, due this fall.
Can I please get MF/RV/incentives for 36/10 in zip 07003 for Limited & Touring both in 3.6 and 2.5. I was originally interested in Forester but if dealers are trying to get rid of this lot as new design is coming out then I’d like to see what kind of lease deal I can swing :-). Also for Subaru is the RV better for 7500 miles or 12K? Can’t remember if this effects Subaru leases or not. Many many many thanks!!!
Change in mileage allowance always changes the residual.
10K/yr is the lowest that Subaru offers.
Outbacks are leasing very well, right now.

Based on fact that this car will be redesigned next year. Do you think this is why dealers are giving larger discounts on the Outback vs. the Forester right now? For instance the above deal had a $5000 markdown. Is this typical? Thanks so much for everythin

So look for trims on dealer inventory that have many cars in stock, or rather a trim that they only have 2 or 3? Which of those groups would dealers be more eager to get rid of? Thanks

More inventory means a better chance of getting what you want, and the dealer is more likely to deal to get rid of it.

For your audience, may I share that I got my $42k MSRP (had lots of useless factory installed accessories) 2018 3.6 Touring back in December 2017 at $5k off in a zero drive off lease? So I imagine I should be able to get way bigger discount now with incentives on the table and more inventory. Back when I was shopping, there were only 3 green 3.6 Touring left within 100 mile radius in Los Angeles. I got kicked out of a few dealers for asking for too much discount. I was going to get a new Lexus RX if I couldn’t get at least 10%, but one dealer agreed to give me $5k off on a green 3.6 Touring that was still en route from factory.
In any case, may I have numbers again for 36/12k 3.6 Touring please?
Subaru is buying back my Outback as lemon. Dealer changed transmission for wierd chirping noise when shifting out of reverse on a cold engine. Subaru determined that was normal, but what weren’t normal were the rattling heat-shield sound dealer couldn’t fix, coolant splashing all over engine (tech found broken radiator fan and hairline crack on radiator), chirping A/C fan that was replaced, and numerous sounds from steering and suspension that dealer couldn't yet diagnose. I don’t know if fault was with factory or dealer, but I had enough.
My wife is still likes the car so I think we’ll be getting same car. Ugh.... I don’t want to pay near MSRP for redesigned OB, so I’ll take advantage if the deal now on the 2019.
Hi- the dealer is questioning the $500 dealer incentive you reference for all trims. Is this a rebate straight from Subaru—how can I prove to them that I didn’t make it up?
also, is there a program where Subaru pays your first month lease payment in my area zip 08755? I read that there is such a thing. Thanks

It's a dealer incentive, and will be part of any price offer made by them.

I’m taking the deal because it’s a good deal regardless, but I’m just dying to know to satisfy my curiosity how they got to 26,751.76 cap cost of the sale price was 25,500. True I’m rolling in bank fee but that’s only 595, so wouldn’t total cap cost be 26095?

GA TAVT (sales tax)?
NJ sales tax 6.625% but that’s usually taxed on the monthly payments. Unless he’s really selling the car at 26K calling it 25500 because I mentioned the 500 dealer incentive as part of the terms?

Yes, but the sales tax is probably added into the cap cost, as NJ collects the money up front.

Can you please provide the MF and Residual for a 36/15k lease on a 2019 2,5 Outback Premium and a 2.5 Limited, for zip code 06810? Also, would you know how credit scores are associated with credit tiers by Subaru (Chase Auto Finance)? My score is 700 FICO.
Thanks! PS: I'm also posting similar question on the Forester forum, since my wife is getting a Forester.

Lots of inventory here and it seems they're trying to dump it to make room for the new 2020 model. Returned my 2016 2.5 Limited for this one. The bigger engine is a huge plus, the interior seems quieter and the technology has improved. Plus I'm saving $50 a month over my 2016!

Great deal! They really want to move the Outbacks.

And do these numbers change if I lease the vehicle at a dealership in CT (09602)?
