    So, got some numbers back from a few dealers. One in particular has me puzzled. Zip is 78260. So, Texas.

    2019 Limited
    36 months/10k

    MSRP - $43,330
    Sales price - $41,344
    Rebate - $2,250
    Government fee - $212.50
    Doc fee - $157.10
    Due at signing - $3,000 (assume includes first payment)
    Residual value - $22,965 (now this is 53% ?!?)
    Money factor - .00017

    Assuming their residual number...they told me

    $0 down - $575-585 (I get closer to $540)
    $3000 down - $489-499 (I get closer to $455)
    $4000 down - $460-470 (I get closer to $430)

    Even if I were to assume the residual is correct (not sure how he could inflate it with Chrysler Capital?), I get different numbers.

    The rebate as I understand it in Texas leases, essentially covers the tax. Also, I think the sales price is not much of a discount. Thoughts on the above?

    Cap Cost Reduction - $4,761.46
    Adjusted Cap Cost - $40,166.36 (this is the number that should be lower, IMO, at least with eliminating the acquisition fee and the rebate of $2,250 isn't fully applied).
    Residual Value - $22,965.00
    Money Factor - .00017
    Total Payment - $488.54

    I get closer to $455 with $3k down. Thank you for your input.

    Updated: Please, I have top credit and am in 60015 zip code. I am seeking GC 4X4 Limited, 36 months. What can I expect for MF, Residual, incentives and approx. If sticker is $47K, what is a reasonable price to get the down to below sticker beyond any easily qualifying incentives. I am not loyalty, do not rent a honda, nor do military or anything like that. On a 47K sticker they wanted $3,000 down, and $530 a month. Seems very high.

    Their payment calculation is correct, with their money factor, residual and adjusted CAP.
    The first payment has to come out of the upfront money. You can't just deduct it all from the CAP cost.

    It probably isn't a Chrysler Capital lease.

    Just looking for advice, just came back from the dealership and have the following numbers without much of a fight, and they seem pretty good compared to what I read...

    I would much prefer the monthly that you came up with... Here is the 'Amount Due At Signing' Section that I have:

    1st Mo Payment: $ 383.20
    Fees & insurance: $ 408.00

    Rebate as Cap Reduction: $7,500

    Do you have a full breakdown of the due at signing amount?
    I would much prefer the monthly that you came up with... Here is the 'Amount Due At Signing' Section that I have:

    1st Mo Payment: $ 383.20
    Fees & insurance: $ 408.00
    Upfront Taxes: $1,855.68
    _________
    TOTAL Inception Fees: $2,646.88

    Rebate as Cap Reduction: $7,500

    Total Drive Off: $10,146.88

    Remaining Due: $ 2,646.88

    I don't see an acquisition fee in that calculation
    At .00017 MF and 50% residual, I get $341/mo.

    We don't see incentives anywhere near $7500.
    I wonder if they quoted you Chrysler Capital lease numbers, then switched you to a different bank, with a higher money factor?

    Seems like a good deal, in any case, but the numbers don't add up.
