I would ask for quotes with $1000 Due at Signing.
That helps keep the focus on the actual monthly cost to rent the vehicle.

For a 2019 GC High Altitude 4WD in Zip 24740 (36/12 lease), I was under the impression that the MF was .00013, the residual 49% and the incentives $4000. However, a dealer quoted me today that the only rebate is a $1000 lease rebate if you go through Chrysler Capital to get the low money factor. They told me that in order to get the full $4000 set of lease incentives on the High Altitude, I would have to lease outside of Chrysler Capital, such as Ally and then I would pay a much higher MF. They also said that Chrysler will not waive the acquisition fee on the High Altitude.

Is what this dealer telling me valid??

The residual is the expected value of the car at the end of the lease.

The adjusted cap cost is the selling price, less rebates, plus any taxes and fees you aren't paying up front.

Without knowing the exact numbers for your taxes / fees its hard to say, but assuming reasonable numbers and 5% tax (i think) the $550 sounds about right.

Your residual should be about 22,580 if my calculation is correct.

Is it a good deal? Well the residual % is a little low, but that's to be expected with a new model year out, and you've got a pretty sizeable rebate to make up for the lower residual. The dealer is giving you a price in between his holdback and invoice, a very fair offer. Best ever? No, but way better than most, imho

For what its worth, around me the 2019 Limited/Limited X is GONE. Couple demos maybe, but that's it.

I clarified and the quote I received includes tax, title, license, dealer fee ($100), and first month due at signing. There is no acquisition fee. This totals about $2K (nothing down to reduce cap cost). It's MN so tax is collected on the lease value up front (not rolled into the monthly). At this price the monthly is around $390.

I'm getting a 9 on the leasehackr calculator. Any thoughts on if that helps determine it's a good deal?

ok...so I missed the October lease incentives on the 2019 Limited X for zip 24740. My dealer says now the incentives dropped from $4500 to $2500. But he also said the lease incentives outside of Chrysler Capital are $6000. Any clue what MF and residuals are averaging for outside banks?? Also, any clue what November residual and MF are for 4x4 Limited X in 24740?
