I'm pretty sure tiers 1-3 all share the same MF, but I don't have the documentation to confirm.

I don't have the information to confirm, but I know it's true for Hyundai; no reason to think it's any different for Genesis.

Yes, at some point, lower tiers mean a higher money factor.

But, that doesn't mean they can't offer top tier rates to the first three tiers.

Looks like you have a target price in mind - might want to shop multiple dealers to get it.

Without any haggling: 36/12, $585/mo that included 7% tax, all dealership fees, $1000 conquest, $500 veteran, $1500 dealer money (?), no money down. Not included were tags and 1st month lease $. The car invoiced for $48,168 and MSPR'd for $50,492. The MF was 0.00010 (2.4 arp ?). Are they fudging on the MF , and, nonetheless, was this a good offer?

What is the cap cost for that offer?

MF is marked up, but not whole lot, which is odd.

How much is due at signing?

Sorry, never paid attention to the cap. Yeah, MF is odd as I was thinking that the MF should have been around 0.00006. Nothing at signing.

Can you get the dealer to show you the lease worksheet associated with that offer? That should contain everything we need to evaluate it.

No, the problem has more to do with how I'm going about this exercise and not the dealership. Nonetheless, do you thin you could still give an "approximate" yes/no to the good deal question and if you find a different MF?

If you find that the dealer is not using the base MF, just tell them you won't sign any deal unless you get the base MF.

Without the cap cost, there isn't much feedback I can give you on the strength of the deal.

The only two variables in a lease are the MF and the negotiated price. You know one is marked up, and you don't know the other. At the moment, I'd say you can improve on this deal.

I get a payment of ~$450 per month for 36 months without tax for the numbers on that deal sheet. They have to be marking up the money factor by quite a bit to get to $515.54. You should double check their calculations for that payment. It doesn't look right to me.

I get $446/mo, plus tax, for 36/12 using those prices.

Confirm the MF used, and, what is the tax rate in DC?

Hello, thank you both for your inputs. For the 446 per month for 36/12 do you mean for the 0 down option? Tax rate in DC is 10.25% for the monthly lease amount so I can see it adding up. I'll confirm the MF used and report back.
