So if I’m being quoted .00130 and .00140 I presume that means the dealer is adding point to the lender’s money factor (rate).

Yes, though .00100 bump is equivalent to 2.4% APR, so it's a big bump.

Yep, indeed it is.  I’m not interested in giving the dealer additional profit on the financing.

    Nor should you.

Tell them you will only sign a deal if you get the base MF.

Can I get MF, residual and lease incentives for I-Pace HSE in 75035 for 36/10 and 39/10?
Is there another sweet spot for lease term with Jaguar?
    Thank you in advance.

Best quote I’ve gotten from a dealer yet.
“I can't do no markup on the LMF since the Finance employee would be paid $0 and it's not reasonable for them to work for free.”
So gouging the customer is the only way for a Jaguar dealership to make money?  All 3 in my area quoted a 10x marked up MF and wouldn’t budge.

Might be time to think about shopping a different brand.

Well leasing seems to be a losing proposition with Jag (low residual) and Tesla (.00023+ MF even with 60%+ residual but no tax credits and no invoice price) vs a 6 year buy. Checking out Audi now if they actually have an e-tron to sell.

"It isn't my business how the dealership compensates their employees, and frankly I don't care. I'm here to negotiate a deal for a car. If you want to discuss pay, I can tell you how poor I am, and that is why you need to cut the price."

Usually, that is said in a lower voice, so it's just between me and the salesperson, and the language might not be so nice... ;)
