I have leased 2 Leafs before and now planning to lease 2019 40KW leaf again.
The money factor now is ridiculous. in last two leases I had 0.00003 money factor (effectively 0.07APR) which is $0.96 and $1.24 per month in lease charges. However, now with 0.00258 (Effectively 6.1APR) it is $85.03 per month in lease charges. WTH is nissan doing? they don't want loyal users to lease again?

I got a quote on an SL plus with a .00278 MF and a 39% residual with $10,629 in discounts. So yes, seems nissan doesn't want loyal users. If I wanted to spend over $600/month, I'd just buy a tesla.

Ah, OK. The standard $35K model that was just released.

And, that's a loan, not a lease.

Gotta love how Tesla shows the after estimated savings amount, like that's the size of the check you send in every month.

$5000 over 72 months is almost $70/mo, so the $0 down payment calculation is closer to $700/mo.

But, I see your point.

If I can set aside over $600 a month for a car payment, then I have more options than an SL+ that may be more attractive long term.

I have an offer for purchasing 2018 Leaf SL (with tech package) used car with 3K miles and clean Carfax record for $430 per month for 72 months. Is this a good deal? I'm in 63146 zip.

Alternately I have a lease offer for 2018 Leaf SV (with Tech package and Weather Package) for $425 per month incl tax for 36/12. Is this better deal? We''l miss the surround view, leather seats and Bose speakers of SL; but rest all is there.

I currently drive a 2016 Leaf SL on lease at $340 per month incl tax expiring in 3 months; hence looking. New 2019 Nissan SL leases are atrocious $584 per month. If I could spare that kind of money I could go with Tesla Model 3. Not sure what Bolt Premier leases are but doesn't have any self driving capability (and I read has uncomfortable seats).

We love our current 2016 Leaf SL that we have but sometimes fall short on the mileage (especially when weather is very cold or very hot); otherwise its lease buyout price is $12680 which is better than what I find around here for similar.

Appreciate any guidance you can provide.

I leased a 2018 SV back in Feb for $363/month including tax with $0 due at signing; same money factor, residual, and incentives as of today. I would think the dealer discount would be a little better now on a 2018 since it’s almost May 2019. Hope that helps.

The $1000 incentive and the $500 cash are likely purchase incentives (as you would be eligible for the tax credit).

Lessees get different incentives, as the leasing bank gets the tax credit.
Although, the military incentive may still stack with the lease incentives.
