    Technology - A5 is better.
    Driving - 440i is better.

    430i is ok ok.

not sure about the service and maintenance though or the reliability.
  • Hi, I'm looking at at getting a 2019 430i GC, for around 46,000 cap cost. Can you please share the MF and residual for a 12/36 lease? What would the monthly payments be if nothing is paid upfront? zip code is 07631, new jersey.

    thanks a lot.

  • also - can you please give me the monthly lease price with and without max multiple security deposits?

  • MSRP is $48,695. Actually I found the same car listed for $45,135, but given the given the lease credit and invoice price, I will likely be able to get it at $44,345 (1,000 over invoice price, plus lease credits.) Can you please share the lease price if no money down for those two prices? with and without max multiple security deposits?

    thank you again,

    $925 acquisition fee
    $300 NJ DMV
    $400 dealer doc fee
    $1600 tax

    $47,570 adjusted CAP

$700/mo, with first payment due at signing.

Residuals aren't very good on the 4-series.

  • Thank you - is that 700/mo with the decreased money factor from the MSD?

Seems so high - back in 2014 I leased a 50,000$ 4 series coupe for 450/mo after MSD!
  • also - is the acquisition fee the same as the destination charge?

No.. I didn't factor in MSDs. The programs aren't national anymore, and no way to know if they are available in your area. If so, .00035 reduction would knock $25-$30/mo off the payment.

No.. the destination fee is part of the price.
The acquisition fee is a lease specific fee charged by the bank.

Hi everyone, what do you guys think of this deal I got from the dealer? I use an online calculator, but it doesn't seem to round up

2019 430i GC to order before my end of lease in 3/2019. https://www.bmwusa.com/byo.html#!/build/summary/dtu81jar

Total Build Price: $48,925 on BMW build site. Quote from the dealer as follows
    $5000 in rebates
    $4125 discount

location zip: 91801 (Los Angeles, California)
    3yrs/15k
    $2000 total due at signing
    $565 including tax

no MSDs included in the quote, but I plan to get it as I currently have them on my current lease. I'm new to this forum, so any help is GREATLY appreciated! Thank you!

    .00188 and 54%

If I use $39,800 as the cap cost, I get $496/mo plus tax.

You need to get the CAP cost the dealer used for their quote, and a full breakdown of what the $2000 up front covers. We recommend you pay only the first payment and DMV costs at signing.

Thanks Michaell! I really appreciate the help! This is what I got back from the dealer regarding cap cost and up front amount:

"Cap Cost is $44,800 which is $4125 off the MSRP of the car build you sent me. The $2000 due at signing goes towards cap reduction since the $5000 in rebates is enough to cover your drive off costs. You can do $0 due at signing but you'll need to add roughly $60 to the monthly payments quoted."

Is this is a decent deal to you? Also, would going with $2000 option be better since I assume it would save a few bucks on the monthly CA tax?

    Thanks!

I'd ask for the breakdown of the drive off costs, if they total $5000

It's a big financial commitment to not know every last detail of the deal.

I'd skip the $2000 drive off, and limit the out of pocket to just the first payment and DMV costs.

    Hi Michaell,

This is what I got from them. Please see attached image...
If the image fails... He had the items as follows:

    Cap reduction $4324.01
    Acq. Fee $925
    Licensing fees $587
    Doc fee $85
    Govt fee $7
    Cap reduction tax $410.78
    Misc tax $95.95 (?)
    First payment $565.26
    TOTAL DRIVE OFF $7000

For the "How it can as paid" portion, I'm not sure what it is...
    Cap reduction $4324.01
    Customer cash $2000
    Rebate $5000
    Min drive off $2675.99

Again, I appreciate all your insight thus far. You're amazing!

    OK, that helps greatly.

They are asking for so much from you to make the payment seem smaller. But, it doesn't change the total cost of the lease.

Again, I'd recommend you pay only the license costs (DMV) and the first payment out of pocket - add the other fees and such to the monthly payment.
