    Good morning! Interested in MF/RV for a 2020 F-Pace S in NY, 36/10 or 36/7500 (if still exists). I am being offered an upgrade due to a demand for pre-owned vehicles. I still have a year left on my current XE lease. Is this a JLR incentive everywhere or local to this one dealer?

    Michaell, you were correct. They are discounting the price of the vehicle to offset the remaining payments, but adding the remaining payments into the capitalized cost of the car. Effectively, their "offer" is asking me to pay more than MSRP for a new car! The pull ahead program offered by JLR only waives/forgives up to 3 payments. Not even sure why they reached out to me -- certainly no incentive for me to move forward right now.

    Not a time for me to feel good about being right. Dealers are certainly hurting for business, and will do almost anything to bring customers in.

    I probably get an email every week or two from my Subaru dealer telling me that I can "save" almost $200/mo on my current car payment if I upgrade to a new Outback.

    I haven't got the heart to tell them I paid off my car early and have no intention of starting up a new payment for something that only gets driven 6-7K a year.
