    @pilot33 best advice I've seen about taking a loaner is asking for a discount equivalent to the penalty rate per mile over the lease mileage. So if Volvo charges 25 cents per mile you go over your lease, ask for the price to be discounted 25 cents per mile already on the loaner. That way you can hold the money in an escrow account and use it to pay back if you go over by the same amount. And if you don't incur the penalty at the end of the lease, you'll have some bonus cash to spend on yourself!

    You'll get the full complement of miles that that contract states.

    If the car has 4000 miles on it and you contract for 36 months and 12,000 miles per year, you'll get all 36,000 miles - taking the odometer to 40,000 when you return the car.
