So I don't have that sort of breakdown directly from the dealers for each of the option. That said, I do think Option A may be the better deal if I didn't want Polestar. 5 MSDs on both vehicles makes the price $798/mo for Option A vs $839 for Option B. I spoke with the dealer today and to add it onto Option A would take the monthly up $40/month since it can't be residualized.

However, with the other dealer, I was initially looking on an almost totally identical currently available Inscription Expression T8 Recharge, but that was just missing Polestar, but had an Air Filter. That one was $17/cheaper.

So it's that situation that makes Option B the better deal for me.

Note: I did hear from one dealer that if a vehicle is on its way to the dealership and at the port, if the polestar is added there, it can then be residualized. If that's true, it's a nice run around way to get polestar a bit cheaper.

I shared the deal on Leasehackr's "ask the hackers" section to get feedback and a couple brokers discussed Option B with me specifically. But my deal beat both of their deals on the best they can do. One of the brokers said directly to me that it's something I have to take. He's the one who made that calculator.

That said, I do think Option A may be the better deal if I didn't want Polestar. 5 MSDs on both vehicles makes the price $798/mo for Option A vs $839 for Option B. I spoke with the dealer today and to add it onto Option A would take the monthly up $40/month since it can't be residualized.

However, with the other dealer, I was initially looking on an almost totally identical currently available Inscription Expression T8 Recharge, but that was just missing Polestar, but had an Air Filter. That one was $17/cheaper.

So it's that situation that makes Option B the better deal for me.

Note: I did hear from one dealer that if a vehicle is on its way to the dealership and at the port, if the polestar is added there, it can then be residualized. If that's true, it's a nice run around way to get polestar a bit cheaper.

If I subtract the incentives from the selling price, I calculate $645/mo.
