Be careful with 24 month leases. For this to be cheaper than 36, you'll need a huge discount, along with the incentives. If you are putting a lot upfront, the payment might be lower, but your overall cost per month could still be higher.

Add up the payments, plus the amount you put upfront, and divide by the term. I'd be very surprised if the 24 month deal turned out to be less per month, overall. Fewer months to amortize dealer and acquisition fees usually kill it.

It's up to the manufacturer and the bank to determine what to do, if anything, about federal tax credits. Looks like Volvo has decided to only pass through the $3500 that the dealer has referenced, and we have confirmed.

I can't tell what you are doing with the lease calculator. But, any difference in MF between the two trims would be offset by the difference in residual.

The numbers are what they are.

I can't see what your inputs are.. I would think it would be about $8/mo. less than that.

But, it's substantial.

You can do the math on a calculator with pen/paper. You don't need to guess on what adjustments an on-line calculator might make.
