    I’m being told Ally is the only bank to allow the $7,500 tax rebate to be applied to cost cap reduction. Their rate is way big at 7.59% annually.

    The two dealers I’ve made an offer to are both using ally. Chrysler capital apparently isn’t allowing the rebate. Also the price on ordering went up. Chrysler is trying to pay for the boat with these jeeps.

    Ally residual is 69% on 36/15 though! In 49201

    Ps. Ally isn’t waiving acquisition fee. But they’re allowing the $7,500. Chrysler capital is not apparently allowing the $7,500 tax credit to apply to cost cap.

    The dealers software is generally set up to offer the program that generates the best payment. I'll guess that the inclusion of the $7500 more than offsets the high APR/MF that Ally is using.

    I really don't want to put any $ down at all... but I hear every dealership saying you pay the tax up front? As in the tax on the entire financed total?

    Also I constantly see "Standard MF" here but no one seems to be able to confirm what that means. I have seen it range from 2.8% to 6.4% which is a big jump...

    Can someone confirm? I have even checked Chrysler financials page and there is no info...

    The standard MF rate varies by model and term.

    But, we haven't gotten the numbers for May, yet. (It's possible we may not get them, at all)

    Out of curiosity, What are some of the Average % off MSRP that dealers are working with right now? I know the chip shortage and manufacturing for the Jeeps themselves have been a nightmare... I also heard that prices are up like $3,500 across the board on all jeeps right now, because of it... Just trying to see what dealers are looking at... Is looking to negotiate 10-15% off MSRP impossible now days? What is a good target range to be pushing for? I know there are a lot of factors but just trying to figure out a baseline.

    I’m working on this now. My dealers in Michigan and Ohio are not budging off friends and family. Some dealers are not even honoring the Friends and Family price due to limited supply and no allocation.

    Just my two cents on it. I’d sign up for the Tread Lightly which gives you friends and family price 30 days after sign up. That’s the best price I’ve been able to negotiate among my dealers here. In this market you’ll never get 15% off on a wrangler.
