Just want to thank you for all your help. With your generously provided information I was able to negotiate, what I believed to be, a pretty sweat deal. I took my offer and bounced if off competing dealers, and also posted in in this forum, all to which agreed it was a good offer...

I was pretty pumped. But before signing any paperwork and after posting my deal on this forum thread, Jeff from Beach Cities Auto Brokers reached out to me. He is an auto broker, here in So Cal, and he offered me and even better deal for an even better truck.

I ended up working with him and signing a 36 month lease/ 15K miles/yr on a brand new 2021 Taco, double cab, 3rd sport 4x4 with a 6ft bed, tech pack and in cement grey. After he patiently answered all my questions, and qualifying for the deal, we met at the dealership, which only took 15 minutes to sign all the paperwork and hand over the keys. The entire deal probably took less than 30 minutes, which includes the time to see the truck in person. He didn't try to up-sell me on anything and was very efficient.

Pretty amazing car leasing experience. I have realized that I've probably gotten hosed in of all the 'good' deals I've negotiated in the past. I now understand that a little bit of research and effort of sitting behind a computer and emailing dealerships for your car of choice, can save you a bunch of money and let you have your cake and eat it too.

Hi I was looking for the MF & RV for a 2021 Tacoma TRD off road double cab V6 in the 44314 zip....

I had gone to a dealer and placed a partial being quoted 299$/mo $1000 down 12k miles at 39 months.

However after pulling credit they are claiming I do not qualify for S tier and only qualify for A tier despite having a 723 Fico auto 8 score. I personally don't see 1 tier also effecting the total lease by ~$1,750 over 39 months but maybe I am wrong.

They are now trying to say with the $1000 down at 39 months 12k miles I would be paying $344.... This also happens to roughly be the difference between the agree'd upon numbers vs MSRP of the vehicle so I am very skeptical especially since I worked at dealerships in sales for nearly 5 years.

TFS is not supporting 39 month terms, for March.

If your dealer is giving you a 39 month quote, then the bank is either Ally or US Bank, and we don't have their programs.

Perhaps you should find another dealer...

What would be the 36mo MF & RV from toyota then so I at least have some ammo going in to this place tomorrow where if they won't honor the original I can tell them to submit to toyota instead of ally... and then promptly leave if I am still facing problems there
