Any perspective on a reasonable markdown off of MSRP for selling price on a well-equipped ($92k) Prestige Q8 this month if the dealer matches these rates? Also is it typical for out of state dealer to pick up tab for shipping ($1,000 to $1,500)?

Thanks, any perspective on how much discount from MSRP is reasonable this month? I’ve heard a good lease payment should be 1% to 1.3% of MSRP with no money down. This seems unachievable at today’s MF and residual with taxes and dealer fees. For example on a $100k MSRP Q8 you’d need a $15k discount to get to 1.3%. I’m only seeing $3-4k discounts for dealers who honor the current MF and residual - some dealers will offer larger discounts but bump the MF. Is the 1-1.3% expectation inaccurate or am I doing something wrong? Thanks.

On a $100k MSRP that’s a $95k selling price and at the 36/7500 lease with .00128 money factor and 50% residual with incentives the payments would be about $1,600 which is 1.6% of MSRP. In order to get to 1.3% or $1,300 per month you’d need to get a $15k discount which seems unrealistic. Is the 1% to 1.3% target lease percentage a pipe dream for this car?

Audis have never leased well, and the 1% is a suggestion, not a rule.
