    Not sure you guys will have the answer, but what is the current situation with Acquisition fees on the Grand Cherokees? I am looking at a Limited X, Overland and High Altitude. The dealers for the Limited X and Overland don't seem to have the $595 acquisition fee. But the High Altitude guy is charging an acquisition fee. All dealers are in NJ. Can the acquisition fee change based on the model? I asked the dealer on the Limited X point blank if the Grand Cherokees have an acquisition fee and he said no, it's one of the benefits to getting another lease through CCAP.

    Could only certain dealers be able to waive the acquisition fee? Or are some dealers using the acquisition fee to mark up the car?

    That might be it... Acquisition fee waivers only apply to Tiers 1 and 2.

    The best time to lease is when you need a car.

    The lower trim levels are generally going to have the lowest payments.

    Do some on-line research, and come back to us with a request for a specific trim. Also, 2WD or 4WD?
