    Thanks Michaell. 7% is a tough pill to swallow but the residual almost makes up for it. Do you know (I cannot remember) if Ford calculates their residual before or after any trim/model discounts on the sticker? The model we are looking at has a $1500 Chrome/High package discount before the final MSRP. It does make a bit of a difference in the residual and payment if they calculate it before or after. And is it still plus 1% if we drop to 7.5k per year? Thanks for all your help in these forums!
    Generally, Ford uses that higher price in the box, farther up the list, rather than the bottom line number. (which is opposite from most companies)

    That's good, as a higher residual, based on that higher number, results in less depreciation.

    Generally, a dealer is going to use the program that results in the lowest overall cost.

    It's likely the Ally lease comes with additional incentives that are incompatible with the Ford Credit lease.

    You have to ask for the details.

    Also, it's possible the Ally lease may only be 10K/yr, while the Ford Credit lease is 10,5K/yr
