Are there any Chevy dealers that are not being total jerks right now? I mean I know inventory is short, so discounts have dried up. But these sleezy dealers around here are pulling out all the nasty tricks. Had one add a $2,000 Florida equipment charge to the price in a lease quotes and not discount at all from MSRP...so they marked up the vehicle from MSRP. After asking for a lease quote with all the particulars for an LT with C&C package, dealer throws me a payment number with no details. Upon inquiry I find out its a demo with 7,000 miles. Another one had the vehicle advertised with a “discount for everyone” of $695. Asked for a lease quote and it was MSRP without the advertised discount. Called them out on that, then they revised their quote so the payment dropped $3. Questioned that and found out they marked up the MF to make up for the discount.

But they most infuriating of the dealers (several have done this) will throw out a payment, without telling you if its after tax and fees, or if the amount due at signing is the real amount or that amount + first tax and title. Then when you ask them to clarify, they ghost you. I am over it. Is there any dealers in central FL that will at the very least sell for MSRP or a little bit less and not play stupid games with dealer installed blah blah, “equipment adjustments” or marking up the MF? The shenanigans they are pulling now are going to alienate potential buyers and they will not even look at Chevy when inventory levels begin to normalize...

In Florida? Probably not.

Dealers are "making hay while the sun shines". Not much you can do about it, if you need a car now.
