Unbelievable they would take that away, I actually leased my second car from Honda because of loyalty and not only that another family member is on their second honda lease as well. 4 honda leases since 2016. 4!!!!!
Without loyalty it just looks like I may have to now opt for another leading competitor if and when this whole chip shortage situation is over with.

At the moment, there is no incentive to the factory to offer loyalty - there is such a shortage of cars on the ground that any that do exist will be sold pretty quickly.

When inventory stabilizes, and we go back to normal transaction prices, I wouldn't be surprised that it gets reinstated.
