It's marked up because the dealer wants more money from your wallet; nothing to do with your credit score.

Dealers can markup the base rate for extra profit, regardless of your credit rating.

Ah ok, that makes sense. Just when I did the numbers at 24 months, I was getting pretty decent monthly vs the 36 month term. I will just move on. They are playing hard ball and using low inventory to not negotiate. I am not in a need, so will just shop around. Thanks!
