Are you a current or recent car shopper who bought an EV and then installed solar – or who had solar already, making the decision to go electric easier?
OR
Are you a recent EV buyer (past 3 months) as a result of manufacturer incentives and dealer discounts on these vehicles, including year-end deals? Were you convinced to buy an EV after finding a good end-of-year deal, or due to uncertainty around which EVs will no longer qualify for full/partial EV tax credits in 2024? My zip is 94610. FICO is about 795.
    No loyalty or other discounts.

Ask for the breakdowns on the "upfront charges". I'm close to the dealer payment, but understanding those charges would help me understand the whole deal.

The said it is the DMV registration fees.
    Does that help?

That looks too high for CA DMV fees - they generally run about 1.1% of MSRP. Might also include the dealer doc fee ($85 in CA) and some other gov't fees.

All in all, not a bad quote.

Thank you. I was also given a quote for a Lexus RX350 AWD for $500/month with $0 down. It is a better discount, but for my criteria RDX is a better vehicle. So I think I am making the right choice.

I think I'd pick the RDX, if it were my choice. Not that the RX is a "bad" vehicle, I think the RDX just fits me better.

    Hi Michael,
I am about to close on the deal but was given the following offer. I am not sure I fully understand the line #9 with respect to the line #27. I said no downpayment. Is #9 just a dealer discount and #27 only includes first month + fees?
