If I add 7% sales tax to that amount, the full monthly payment is $491/mo.

Do you have a screen shot from the dealer you can post? It's possible we're missing some of the numbers, or misinterpreting them somehow.

The only lever you have to get a better payment is to negotiate a lower selling price for the car.

We don't track selling prices; use the Price Checker link in my signature block to get a reasonable target.

And, I find it incredibly hard to believe there isn't a dealer fee in Florida - it's one of the worst states in the country for those.
