Was curious because of the recent poster with a $11,600 incentive. The lease calculator on Edmunds is normally correct on the incentives as well and also showed the slightly higher amount compared to two days ago.

Thanks so much! Me & my cousin got two Kira EV EX /cold package leases yesterday. Had two dealers in the Washington, DC area w/ multiple of these models in stock, we went with the one willing to do a little below sticker in exchange for buying both.

My cousin went with:
0 down 36 months 10,000 miles = $457/month

I went with $2k down (my trade in), 36 months, 10,000 miles = $387/month

We're both Maryland residents. I'll try to give detailed numbers from the paperwork.

Honestly would have preferred the Nissan Leafs at this price point because at this price point, the Kia Niro EV EX trim doesn't have as much stuff as the Nissan leaf SL Plus but the kia seemed to have just much better leasing terms.

Also a heads up to anybody who is looking right now, at least in the Washington DC area, any dealer I reached out to for the Kia Niro EV who initially gave me a marked up price at first did reach out to me later that day with numbers at sticker. That did seem like the genuine floor, but the markup definitely is not. Do call around.

Actually just a follow up question on this, is the lease cash so high on the kia Niro ev because they're giving you the full $7500 fed tax credit? And the Nissan leaf EV, which has just $2k lease cash - they're just pocketing the tax credit for themselves?

That's one way to look at it.
