    Not sure if you are still providing this info as I haven't asked in years, but would you please help me calculate an approximate lease payment on the following: CCAP 36/10k lease on a 2022 Jeep Compass Latitude Lux 4X4 in zip code 89119 (Las Vegas, NV).

    In my previous post from earlier this month you mentioned that the Money Factor on this car was 0.0009 and the Residual was 56%. Based upon what the dealer shows as the Residual on the internal worksheet it appears they are using the CCAP 56% residual, however:

    Dealer's internal worksheet shows the following: MSRP: $36,910; Total Savings: $4,915.92 (Dealer Discount = $3,415.92, Incentives $1,500); Adjusted Price $31,994.08; Etch: $188.50; Perma Plate: $499; Total Purchase $32,681.58; CCAP Acquisition Fee: $595; Tax: $317.14; Title Fee: $28.25; Doc Fee: $599; Balance: $34,220.97

    Edmunds Lease Calculator shows that this is a "Great" selling price, but the internal Dealer Worksheet shows the following for monthly payment: $0 Cash Down: $471.49; $1,250 Cash Down: $433.01; $2,500 Cash Down: $396.11; Residual: $20,669.60

    I'm trying to get the Etch and Perma Plate removed from the sale, but according to the sales rep need GM approval.

    Assuming the GM does not approve the removal of the dealer add-ons (ETCH and Perma Plate), using the Edmunds Lease Calculator I get a monthly payment of $396 with $0 down. Trying to reverse engineer the monthly payment to achieve a monthly $0 down payment of $471.00 like the dealer worksheet shows, I need to use a Money Factor of 0.00191.

    Just curious if I am I doing something wrong with the calculation or if the dealer is marking up the MF...didn't think they could mark it up that much.

    Is there a limit to the MF mark-up a dealer can charge...112% increase seems excessive to me.

    Could it be a borderline Excellent/Good credit score issue?

    Remember, there is a monthly sales tax, as well.
    I get $426/mo+tax, with those numbers. (1st payment Due at Signing).

    So, not too far off. If MF marked up by .00042, then $449/mo+tax

    Is the 0.00042 MF mark up the max a dealer can use on a 36/10k CCAP lease?

    Also, assuming I make the first payment up front, what would the monthly payment be if I can convince the GM to remove the ETCH ($188) and Perma Plate ($599)?

    Lastly, not sure if I can, but does CCAP allow for an absolute zero-down sign-and-drive option? If so, is there some kind of additional MF markup or fee for that?

    Yes, .00042 is the max markup

    Take any amount and divide it by the lease term, and that's an approximate difference in the payment.

    You should be able to roll any of the upfront amounts into the CAP cost, if that's what you wish to do.

    MF and RV on a limited 4x4 with 36/10 for 18337.

    Been speaking with a dealer and I think they’re screwing with my on the MF since it seems to be insanely low with the compass. I pressed them on it a little and the salesman was cagey.
