For 2022 Wrangler 4Xe models, I just learned that if the dealer allows the $7500 EV tax credit as a rebate against the sales price, the lease MF jumps to .00272 vs. .00144, almost double, so over 36 month period Chrysler Capital regains $4200 back in interest. And of course, same RV for both scenarios. If you're just about a payment, you can ignore all this, I may or may not buy out my lease, which is why I care about total cost. Good luck out there!!

I did not take this deal and posted it for awareness. The deal that I did get brought the MF down to .00214 with 66% RV for a JLURe. But I also got the $7500 credit off the sales price for the lease (cap cost) and the dealership basically ate the sales tax, in my lease that was worth $85/month. I'm sure they got it back in an incentive somewhere, I don't care really.

All in all, Edmunds.com, understanding how a lease works, and understanding my personal needs/wants/goal, I was able to get the lease I wanted with very little upfront, a very reasonable payment, and the option to buy out at the end if I want to or sell it next month and make a profit or just turn it in at the end of 3 years. It was not easy, and took a ton of back and forth, but I got what I wanted at the end it all, so worth it.
