    do these numbers look right in the cash/equity part? I was told $6900 rebate and $2200 equity in my current lease. He said he couldn't do $450 a month.

    The math is right - do you feel this is a fair trade value for your car?

    Notice that this lease is funded through a credit union, so I can't confirm the MF, RV or incentives.

    The adjusted cap cost is the selling price, less any up front money, but including any taxes and fees that you aren't paying up front.

    Definitely does not sound right, and I’m assuming they are padding the MF for sure. Dealers often try and use other financial institutions like and Ally to sell you on the “massive rebates” only to make it back in the MF/APR. I’ve found that the manufacturers are generally offering the more favorable terms overall, but that’s why research is key.

    You can use fantastic free calculator on Leasehackr.com using the financial terms provided by @Michaell. I’ve had 5 auto leases, and the last three I’ve used these forums and leasehackr to my benefit in each deal.
