Try to get them to disclose the MF used for their quote - and, a lower price is always better, but not real likely given the current market conditions.

Ah, ok, I didn’t know they did that. I thought it was set by Toyota Lease. MF’s on my first two leases (one was same dealer) were very low so I didn’t question it. So that means there’s still hope for a deal if they will negotiate. Thanks a million.

The base rate is set by the bank, but the dealer has always been able to mark it up for extra profit.

With supply and demand being what it is, we are seeing a lot more of that, across the board.
