I must be getting hosed hard by the dealers I've been working with. For a 36/10k lease, the best tentative offer I have received was a $964 per month with $1500 down. Working through these numbers and there is no way I should be paying over $900 per month with none down on a negotiated $74,020 final price. This is including 4.25% taxes within the monthly payment (not on MSRP of vehicle like some states). I have worked with dealers in my current state of Colorado as well as Texas, Illinois, and Kentucky with no luck. Any advice other than to keep contacting dealerships?

Are you asking them to give you a payment? Or are you making an offer? If you are confident in your numbers, email dealers with you offer. They can accept/reject/counter. I usually give them the numbers and say something like “please let me know if this offed is acceptable and I can close the deal today.”
