I have never heard of paying off a lease early as a means to avoid any of the interest.

Each bank handles the buyout differently. We don't have any insight on how Chrysler Capital addresses the issue of rent charge.

The problem is, you can't call the bank and ask them, until you are a customer. You might want to check Jeep boards elsewhere on the internet - this was a big deal a year or two ago for the Wrangler 4xe models.
