Hello. I just leased a 2023 X5 xDrive40i for 36 months/10K miles. MF: 0.002400 RV: 52%. Zip: 25301

I built the x5 with the following specs:

M Sport Package: $3,300
Parking Assistance Package: $800
Premium Package: $1350
22" M Double-spoke black wheels: $1900
M Sport Brakes with Red Calipers: $650
Rear Manual Side Window Shades: $250
Glass Controls: $650
Heated Front Seats, Armsets & Steering Wheel: $350
Extended Shadow Line Trim: $300
Destination Fee: $995

Total: $74,920

I tried negotiating as much as I could with the money factor to get it down to 0.0019-0.0020 (after researching on here) but the dealership wouldn't budge. They kept saying it was set by our region and had no wiggle room in that.

So, I negotiated on the MSRP price since they wouldn't budge on the MF. They discounted the MSRP by $2,920. Then I also got a $2500 in rebate ($1500 lease promotion + $1,000 recent graduate rebate).

Total including the discount on the MSRP + including the rebate made it $69,500.

I put $0 down on the lease and my month payment ended up being $1212 a month. Is this a good deal?
I'm new to leasing cars and just want input.

Dealer is charging a processing fee of $500 and motor vehicle admin, fees tags, transfer title lien fee of $1,252.

Are they overcharging? Should I ask for a lower fee?

The state charges can't be negotiated.

One thing to note is that MD charges sales tax on the entire selling price, even when you lease.

The dealer fee seems about right for the state.

Please don’t lease the 45e, you’re going to pay a premium but you’re not going to get the tax credit.

A lease or finance account with BMWFS, within the last six months.

Yes, the incentives are BMW to consumer, applied as a CAP cost reduction. Of course, that doesn't mean the dealer won't have them already included in your quote.

Our current numbers are only valid for December, so they won't help you.

I meant for the 2023 MODEL but looking for 45e numbers for December.

I don't know if that has ever happened with BMW. It definitely is not happening now.

Leaving the incentives and up front cash aside, a $76K MSRP and a $75K selling price results in a $1240/mo payment before tax.

Every $1000 added or subtracted from the selling price adjusts the payment around $30/mo up or down.

52% residual and a MF of .0019 The published rate and the one given here was .0017 which over the course of the lease would be just under $200.

Not sure why they are fighting me on this one but they are giving me $1750 off MSRP on the car for BMW loyalty.

Dealer can mark up the MF as much as .00040, so I suppose they aren't taking you for as much as they could.

Shop around and see if you can get a better deal.
