I'd like to pick everyone's brain on the following......I ordered a Carrera T which launches in the spring of 2023, I'm sure it will take somewhere between 6-18 months to arrive. The market by then would be different and hopefully we may gain some leverage again as buyers.

In the meantime I'm thinking on getting a 992 CPO (21 or 22) and use it until get the T. I think the market is at the inflection point and I'm seeing prices coming down (not crashing just yet) and inventory building up....does everyone have the same assessment? if I buy at the right price today or in a few months I may breakeven when I trade in the CPO.

Now the plan is to lease the CPO. I read on Porsche's website you can lease a CPO as long as it is less than 4-5 years old so I'm good.

Question to the moderators, do you have access to RV and MF for a CPO base Carrera 2021 or 2022 for 36 and 39 months for zip 33133? do banks like Chase or US Bank offer leases on Porsche CPOs? if so do you have the RV and MF? I don't want to Finance the 992 cause I'd have to pay the full amount on the taxes and roll into the loan.....then would lose the $$$ when I trade in and lease the T.

The dilemma is.....should I get the 992 now or wait a few months and see how the market worsens?

I got an email from another source and supposedly Tesla is broadcasting the $7500 federal EV incentive....then there was a link to the IRS (link below) and from what I understand (I'm not a CPA) it applies to the purchase (not lease) and you claim in your 2023 taxes. There are some restrictions in regards to Adjusted Income too....in a nutshell it does not apply to leases as an adjusted cost reduction.

Is "T" a trim level or is that short for "Targa"?

Not the Targa, Carrera T for touring. The model slides in between the base Carrera model and the Carrera S. Last seen as a 991.2 Carrera T. Thank you
