    MSDs update:
    I confirm that Mazda refundable MSDs with Toyo Fin'l for 2023 remain as I reported during 2020, each MSD gives a .00008 reduction in MF up to a maximum of 9 MSDs.
    Running the analysis, it's still a high return on investment, even if more costly today compared to when MF was already nearly 0 in late 2020 (maxed out at only 5 MSDs to actually hit 0% interest back then!): On my quoted deal, if I park $4,050 for 3 years, that saves us $1,296 in total interest paid over 3 years, effectively making for a simplified annualized return calculation of 10.67% AFTER TAXES (since we pay the monthly lease using after tax dollars). On the other car I quoted, it's a higher effective return since it's more interest saved on a more costly lease, but against the same deposited total. The amount saved obviously depends upon your car's cap cost and such. I have the cash, and I can't earn an AFTER tax 10-13% effective annualized rate of return so easily in any other manner.
    Again, stated differently, the total effective return on investment is effectively like earning about 50% on my money (before fed'l and state taxes) over that full period. While it ties up real cash, that's both refundable and a true investment grade activity--while doing so saves me actual cash flow of $36 or $44 monthly on either deal.
    Incidentally, this MSD points-off formula appears within a popular lease calculator sponsored by a certain "hacker" site that many here likely know about. I did not check this site's calculator.

    Thanks, wanted to check the numbers for 2nd Mazda in the family. We are about to sign on a CX-30 Premium but they still have the power liftgate, and in CX30 you get the Head Up Display on Premium compared to Premium Plus on CX5.
    Having said that, based on my calculations, if anyone is also cross-shopping.
    The monthly payments are identical for CX-5 Preferred and CX-30 Premium, but you get so much more in CX-30, although it's a smaller (but peppier) vehicle.

    Sharing my findings, with roughly 2.5% off MSRP, setting S Select as base since finding S is very difficult and honestly it's bare bones, there is $30 from Select to Preferred, then only about $7 difference to go from Preferred to Premium and $30 from Premium to Premium Plus. (pre-tax). It makes sense to consider Premium.

    How many MSDs i can do max ( Total amount??).

    Anything changed in March???

    Also does mazda offer 18 month/10K lease ?? If yes, please give me MF and residual as well...
