You are leasing. All that matters is the monthly payment. The $7500 is already factored into that. Wait until next year.

The dealer just entered the model in his system and it showed the .00185 MF, .0004 markup and 50% RV for a 23 e40.

The residual cannot be changed, so no need to dwell on that.

Ask for the base MF of .00185, and see where that leads you.
