Northern California, what type of prices off MSRP are dealers giving for a 2023 i4 e40 lease? I read 10%, but I’m not seeing it. Also, the Edmunds Lease Calc is quite different than what dealers are offering, any ideas?

When I put in the all the same numbers that the dealer provides, I get $482/mo. And the dealer quote is $578/mo.

What is the actual adjusted cap cost?
What MF are you using? (the dealer can mark this up by .00040)

What is your location? (tax issues can sometimes confuse the calculator)

Now you need to find out what cap cost the dealer is using, and have them explain the difference (fees? taxes?).

Not necessarily. Depending on the fees and taxes, some of the equity might go to those costs.

I agree with that math, using the marked up MF of .00225. $611/mo with the base MF of .00185

Can someone educate me on the 7500 lease credit ? Does that just lower the MSRP ? Meaning 100,000 with a lease credit of 7500 means cap cost of 92500 ?

No, it is applied like a down payment to the adjusted cap cost.

I am looking to lease a bmw i4 e drive 40. I wanted to ask a lease structure question. The current MSRP is 63k. It is suppose to come with a 7500 lease credit. This would mean a cap cost of 55500. With something like this as a buyer can I still negotiate the price dowj further ? Should my focus be to first negotiate down from 63000 and then the lease credit goes on top of that?

Based on truecar a 6 to 7 % lower negotiation price is a good deal, given that and the 7500 credit would that be a crazy offer ?

I have a 2021 330i which is currently 2 years into its 3 year lease.

Looking at the $7500 rebate, I’m planning to trade it in (have $1500 negative equity) for an e35.

My current lease is $500 and the cheapest e35 I’ve been able to negotiate is $700.

I’ll be paying $200 more for a car which isn’t a big upgrade in terms of features, but obviously electric.

I’m thinking this $7500 is too good and I should take advantage of it, or am I wrong and should stick with my 330i till its lease ends.

I'd ride out the current lease, if you have negative equity - that alone is adding about $45-50/mo to the quoted payment.
