I'm going to look at a 2024 Mini Cooper SE (EV) tomorrow and would like MF and RV for 36/7.5 and 24/7.5 if available in 52402 zip code. 10k would be 1% lower? Also, are MSDs available? How many and how much is the MF reduced by each one? Any difference in the numbers between Signature and Iconic trims? Thanks very much.

I went to my nearest Mini dealer on 10/27/23 and traded my 2021 BMW M440i xDrive that I had some equity in despite being a lease with six months left (couldn't do that at a non "BMW" dealer). I drove home a 2024 Mini SE after a very easy and pleasant negotiation. Ended up with a $388/month payment for 24 months / 7,500 miles per year with nothing other than the equity I had in my BMW and my first payment out of my pocket. Tax (which in Iowa is the total of the payment X the term X the sales tax rate), title, license, acquisition, doc fee, etc. were all rolled in.
I know, quite a change in cars but I drive fewer than 5,000 miles per year and decided a $700/month payment wasn't worth it despite how much I loved the BMW. The Mini is very fun to drive, so easy to see out of, and really fits my needs. My closest dealer is over 100 miles away so I did have to stop and charge it but even that was painless.

If you're leasing, compare the cost to a new model. That should be your comparison. If it isn't substantially cheaper, why would you lease the used one?

Every lease is now more expensive than the one before it.
Are you paying these fees up front, or adding them into the payment? If the latter, add them to the adjusted cap cost amount.

Not putting money down will raise that payment about $65-70 per month.
