Not sure why you are even entertaining this quote, as it appears they are charging $2700 over MSRP?

I was trying to make sure i knew how the payment was calculated. Yes, I followed the steps on that link and the closest I could get was $499.63 after I added 7% GA sales tax ($466.95 monthly before tax). Any idea how they got to $542.52 monthly payment?

The sales tax in this example is paid upfront. The $2000 isn't enough to cover all the upfront charges, so $450 is added to the CAP cost.

I get $502/mo, but I notice there is no allowance for the acquisition fee, so that would have to be added to the CAP cost, as well. That gets me to about $522/mo. The adjusted CAP cost isn't disclosed, so it's all a guess. It's possible the MF is marked up, as well.

Hey guys, thanks for the help. I ended up leasing the K5 gt-line trim w/ premium package. 36/12

Sticker price was 33.5k. Website price was 29,850. Dealer had additional fees and packages for an advantage program which gave protections to the car, cash back for a new car if totaled/stolen, and things like that (I'm not sure if this is the new market adjustment but all dealers had something similar.

All said and done- Gross Cap Cost = 29,500.00 and with items over totaled at $31,473.40. I put 3k down and my monthly payment is $441.05. I calculated $417 for monthly payment but I see they have gross sales tax / use in there at $26.92 which brought it up from my calculation.

Overall the deal was painless and they took me serious with the info I had. There was not much haggling and they were quick to give me an out the door price.

I don't know if I could have done better. This was my first time buying/leasing a new car. The high interest/MF really brings the payment but they dont control that. I got the exact residual/MF you posted.

Let me know what you think. They told me I got a good deal. Do you think I could have got lower in my area or is getting it at MSRP good for the current market. Overall, very happy with the car. It's beautiful and if we went with a less popular car maybe we could have negotiated more but very happy with our choice.
