    Thank you! Can I ask an opinion on an offer Kia made me?

    36/10 - offering car at MSRP (37,895) + accessories (269) - Net Trade (-4624) + Fees (749) and they are giving me the following options:
    1k down = 769/mo
    2k = 737
    3k = 705
    5k = 642

    My current car is valued at 16.5k with 21,124 left on the finance loan. hence the negative roll-in. (got scalped 2 years ago after a massive flood on the East Coast :frowning: )

    Am I getting taken for a ride? I tried to calculate RV on my own off these numbers but I came out to something around 30% which I thought was wild. I also accept I am terrible at math so could be totally wrong :smile:

    You're paying $150/mo. extra, just for the negative equity.

    The dealer can't alter the residual. But, the residual is based on the MSRP of the vehicle. Adding all of that negative equity on top doesn't help the residual.
