Ok. I’m about to jump in and make a lease request and wanted to include that 7500. But I don’t want them to laugh at me since it doesn’t show up anywhere on their website. I know the govt rebate was something at a time but now with all the stipulations I doesn’t qualify for the the rebate.

The bank owns the vehicle, and the lease is considered a commercial transaction, rather than personal (for purposes of the Federal incentive). So, the vehicle qualifies for the $7500 on a LEASE. And, Volvo is passing that along as a rebate to the end customer (applied as a CAP cost reduction)

I was told today that they won’t honor the 7500 because it’s a plugin hybrid and not a full EV. 😥

That's bunk. The incentive is specifically provided for for the XC60 Recharge models.

Find another dealer.
