Hello, could I please have MF, RV, incentives and rebates for the following vehicle:

    2024 Volvo XC90 T8 Plus Bright theme, 7 Seater, zip code 19087

    24/7,500
    36/7,500

Lastly, does maxing out MSD's save any money if I plan to buy out after 2 payments to get the $7500 EV rebate?

    Thank you!

    .00403 MF
    70%
    63% RV
    $7500 lease bonus

I'd pass on the MSDs if you're going to buy out the lease after 60-90 days.
    Thank you very much!

The $7500 lease bonus is the $7500 EV rebate, or is it different?

One dealer offers 0.00403 MF, 59% RV for 36/10k. Looks on on par with what you shared above, correct?
No, the dealer is quoting the 15K/yr residual. There is a +3% adjustment for 10K/yr (62%). That's likely a communication issue.

This month, the incentive appears to be Volvo-to-dealer, which means you have to work for it in negotiations. On the plus side, if that's the case, there is no upfront sales tax on the incentive.
Ok, thanks again! I did see now it shows "Adj. Resdual $, %" as "$48,121, 62%". Is this what you are referring to by "There is a +3% adjustment for 10K/yr (62%)"?

I am sorry but would you mind confirming if the $7500 lease bonus is the same as the $7500 EV government rebate? I am very new to leasing. It looks like all dealers that I have communicated with are lowering the leasing price by $7500 due to the EV government rebate, which does not need negotiation.
Our info shows the incentive, differently, this month. But, that's the weakest part of our info.
Even the way you just phrased it: are lowering the leasing price by $7500 due to the EV government rebate, which does not need negotiation. could be read to mean either the way I put it, or the way you are interpreting it.

    Yes on the residual adjustment.
Thank you! I am wondering if you can answer a follow up question on the manufacture to dealer bonus.

For "On the plus side, if that's the case, there is no upfront sales tax on the incentive.", what does this mean? I tried to google answers before I write this post but couldn't find a definite answer for what are taxed in PA (where I am) leases.

How does a manufacture to dealer bonus apply to a lease deal differently than, say, the $500 A-plan discount?

If I understand it correctly, the $500 A-plan discount will be deducted from the selling price, thus lowering the Gross Cap Cost, and eventually lowering the Adjusted Cap Cost. Will a Volvo-to-dealer bonus be applied differently? Thanks again!
PA taxes the monthly payment. Any direct manufacturer-to-customer incentives that lower that payment are subject to upfront sales tax.

Volvo to dealer incentives are aren't "applied". You have to negotiate them into your sale price, as a dealer discount. (ergo, not taxed)

I think what confuses me is that the dealers deduct the A-plan $500 from the sale price, the same way as any dealer discount that they are offering.

But anyway, what's important is to know what incentives are out there, as well as info. such as MF, RV, etc. So thank you very much for all the info.!

I'll bet, that if you were to look at the lease contract, that the $500 is applied like a down payment, and is itemized as such.

Dealer incentives are simply reflected in the negotiated sales price, and aren't broken out on the paperwork.

We don't know the date of your clip - it could be that this represents a program from the past, where the incentives were different.

Thank you both, Michaell and kyfdx, for your input!

I am so new to lease that I haven't seen a lease contract before. I found an example online. Is the $4000 circled in red where you were referring to as "applied like a down payment"? Thanks again!

We don't know the date of your clip - it could be that this represents a program from the past, where the incentives were different.
Edit: Sorry I didn't see kyfdx's reply before I wrote the sentences below. Thank you. kyfdx and Michaell, both again for your input!
    *****
Yes, I am just using that as an example of an incentive that is applied like a down payment. It's not a current program. If an incentive in put down in item 6b in the example contract above, is it subject to upfront tax?

Yes, and that's part of the reason it's done that way. So, in the calculations, they can show it as a taxable CAP cost reduction.
