I've been offered 5.3% off MSRP of $45,161 for a 2024 Atlas SE w/ Tech, FWD, with captain chairs package (easier with my kids) plus $500 recent grad discount. They've marked up the money factor slightly to 0.0027. Zip 95136. I'm planning to take it at 10,000/36 months with 64% residual. Considering putting down max MSDs to buy the money factor down though it feels like a lot of cash and maybe better in a HYSA. Locally, getting discount off MRSP is like pulling teeth right now. I've never had such a hard time with a lease before. I've talked to 10 different dealers on 3 different makes and this is by far the best discount I've been offered. Thoughts?

Seems like you've done more than enough shopping to recognize a good deal.

You should do the math on the MSDs - you might find that the savings is greater than keeping the money in the bank, even with the high interest rates available.
