And then the magic happens. Dealer Name Advantage BS $2500. Some Taxable fee $820. Then predelivery service charge $995, then tax $130, then non tax fees $1100. Taking the car from $28,500 to $34,045 (+$5,545). I give up!

Keep shopping. The $995 is excessive, but sadly in line with FL dealers. The $2500 simply seems like a clawback of the discount they are "offering" you.
Just got their explanation, lol "Collision credit, Stolen Vehicle Assistance, paint and fabric protection, ran repellent, door edge and cup guards, Roadside assistance, plus many other benefits! We also provided you a discount which essentially covers this, you're not paying!" Yeah, so basically a calwback of the discount like you said.
