    Here is an updated quote without the useless charges. What's the best way you think I can negotiate it? It's seeming like they're willing to negotiate, I just don't have the right language yet to be able to push them that way.

    Also to be clear, we're also trying to purchase the car outright but we are just using the lease to get the incentives first

    Just tell them on an outgoing 2024 model, you expect a substantial discount, in addition to the incentives.

    Alright yes, thanks for the help. This is my ignorance speaking, and also being on this forum for the first time, but the lease cash + residual + MF, where do you get those numbers for? and how could I defend those numbers against the dealer

    They come from the bank. Residual is fixed. Incentives are fixed.
    They can markup the money factor, and looking at your payment, it looks like they have... a lot.

    So, they still have quite a bit of room to come down. You don't really care about the marked up money factor, because you're buying it out, after a few payments, right? But, if you know they are making extra money on the markup, that gives them even more room to discount the vehicle (which they haven't done.. at all).

    Yeah that makes complete sense. Thanks for the insight, will go back to them.

    To your question, yes. The idea is to buy the car after a few payments, so what I'm understanding is that if I want the best deal, I'm going to want the best "balance" they can give me, which they cna actually take off the "adjusted price" since they're making money off of the actual payment itself

    $3000 off would be easy for them. Maybe even $6-$7K off

    Yeah I'll let you know what happens. I think the only way I'll get them to do that is if I have a competing quote from another dealership which is going to make me shop around a bit more

    It's $150/mo. better than the last quote. (but, with a lower mileage allowance)
    Better price, and not marking up the money factor, I don't think.

    If you need 10K/yr, it will add about $25/mo

    The idea is to pay the first few months and then buy the car outright so we can capitalize on those discounts. Any advice on that thought?
    Is there something I should be watching out on the lease that could prevent me from doing that?

    I am looking at a 2024 RX350h AWD, Premium, with Convenience Package, Cold Weather Package, and 14 inch screen. Location Missouri, 63105. I have been told that you get no discount on MSRP for the hybrids because they are in demand and often sold before they even arrive at the dealership. Is that true? Would you expect to see a discount off the MSRP? It is certainly harder to find a specific color combo with these packages and often the inventory you see online is already sold. Looking to buy, although willing to lease and then buy - but it doesn't appear there are any lease incentives on the hybrid. Does anyone know when the 2025 model will be arriving and if it is worth waiting for 2025 and/or to see when the 2024 prices drop?

    We don't track pricing, but I don't doubt what the dealer is telling you.

    My daughter just bought a hybrid last week (not a Lexus), and I had a dickens of a time getting any discount from MSRP.
