Sorry if this is a dumb question. The dealer explained this to me and it makes sense - just want to make sure I understand correctly.

The EV6 Light RWD has a MF of 0.00092 for my zip code (78741). They said they don't do one-pay leases with the manufacturer specials, which makes sense since the MF would effectively be 0.00002 with the one-pay deduction, which is crazy low. Is this a general policy with Kia / other care makes where they don't allow one-pay on specials lease promos?

It can be done, but the dealer has to offer it.

Contact other dealers and see if you get the same story.

The dealer can decline to offer one-pay leases. It does slightly lower their back-end money from Kia.
But, it's KMF that deals with all of that. It really shouldn't matter a lot to the dealer. Shop multiple dealers.

I once did 9 MSDs on an Infiniti (x .00010 each), taking the base MF of .00091 down to .00001. That was in 2011, but it can definitely be done.

And good point. I typically only drive just under 10k but prefer not to be worried that I go over. When I leased a BMW, additional miles could be purchased up to some tim before the lease ended with very little penalty. So if one was unsure of the total miles it was better to go a little low and add if it looks like it would be exceeded.
