Thank you. Perhaps I'm missing something. When I went to a local dealer I was quoted a price of $59120 for Land with relaxation package (MSRP ~$73120) and for 24 months/12k miles, 0 DAS, monthly cost was $980. They did not give me the money factor or residual value. However, whenever I tried to plug in the numbers myself, the only way I could get to 980/month was if I used a much higher money factor, around 0.004. Did I do my math wrong somewhere?

I think the most they can mark it up is either .00040 or .00050.

Likely, they added a bunch of extras.
Also, did you account for the upfront sales tax on that big rebate?
$0 DAS? Did you add the first payment to the CAP cost, if not Due at Signing?

Ask for the adjusted CAP cost and the money factor used.

$2000 is a down payment and not total cash at signing. Sales tax is due upfront, so I’m looking at another $2k for tax, fees etc.

If I add the items listed to the "difference", then $772/mo.

If the MF is marked up by .00050, then about $822/mo, with just first payment Due at Signing, so not far off their quote.

Doesn't Maine tax the monthly payment? Or, do they collect all the tax upfront?

You need the "ADJUSTED CAP COST". So, you know what's included in the payment, and what you are paying upfront, and a clarification of Maine tax on leases.
