Could you give me numbers and opinion of deal below for 2024 OBX 4 Door, 36month/10,500, Zip 29681. Credit score around the 790's so I imagine that would be top tier but provide for what ever you think. I think the MF used in the deal below is not at all competitive. They did not give me the MF but if my math is correct it looks like its around .00313 or so.
The numbers I got on first visit is as follows: 36 Month / 10,500 Miles 2024 OBX base price: $47,940 Equipment Group 314A: $2,930 Optional Equipment: $2495 Total w/ destination fee: $56,010 Dealer discount: -$1010 Jeep conquest incentive: -$2000 Down Payment: -$10,000 Total Cap Cost: $45,409.93 Monthly Payment: $506

Where is the dealer fee? The acquisition fee? License and registration costs?
5.52% APR and 65% residual $750 dealer cash (so, the effective dealer discount is a whopping $260)
The base APR translates to about .00230 MF, so the dealer is marking that up on you for extra profit.
As you can now see, not a great deal. Keep shopping.
Tip: don't put large amounts of money down on a lease - if the car is stolen or totaled before the lease end, that money is gone.

Are you saying there is a dealer cash incentive going on now of $750? I have not seen that anywhere, how do I show the dealer I know about this?
I do want to keep shopping for better deal but this actually is the one my wife wants because it has the painted black roof instead of the standard gray roof. I haven't started negotiating with them yet. Supposedly they move the largest quantity of Fords in the state.
If the $750 dealer cash and $2000 Jeep incentive are Ford sponsored that doesnt even affect the dealer. What would be a discount on top of that to make this a good deal (also considering they make right on the MF at .00230).

The dealer cash is a dealer incentive; they are under no obligation to share any, or all, of it with you. Now that you know about it, negotiate your price accordingly.

Shopping around is the best way to know you're getting a good deal; however, if the wife has landed on this particular unit, you lose a bit of leverage.

Might be time to think about another dealer.
Dealer came back and admitted they marked up the rate. Said was .0023 but marked up to around .00313. Went back and forth about things and then "talked to manager" and said they would do a "coupon" that they found for $750 (im sure its just the incentive) and the would do the rate at .0029167.
So essentially
44,659 adjust cap cost 10k down (still deciding on this based on your advice) Payment $463
IMHO I still don't think this is the best deal. I called another dealer and they were much more willing to discount. Unfortunately I think I know what I have to do. The wife may not be happy.

48/15 5.54% APR 63% residual Same incentives
Thank-you. 48 months is a long time for some people. There doesn't happen to be a 24 month/15K program that is equally enticing?
Only a 5% drop in residual from 3 years to 4 years? The problem for me is that the extra year would end up costing me a lot in maintenance and consumables. I'm sure that would be right around the point I'd need to do brakes and tires. I'd also have to factor in the fact that I'd be way out of warranty on a non Toyota product.
